La Plaza del Limón is located in the southwest rural mountainous region in the state of Michoacan de Ocampo in Mexico. The town is composed of approximately 5,000 habitants and it relies on agricultural work as the main source of income for the people. The state government currently offers a Kindergarten school, Elementary school and one Junior high school. Most students complete their middle school years and stop their formal education after that.
